We are Jen and Will Banks and we want to tell you a bit about ourselves and help you understand why we do what we do.
“Our goal is to share this amazing breed with others and help place loving dogs in loving homes.”
Will is retired from the Navy, where he served 20 years as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman and completed tours in Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. He also spent over 25 years with Emergency Medical Services working on the 911 ambulance and helping people within the community.
Jen has spent over 18 years as an Emergency Department and Trauma Nurse. Together, we have devoted our lives to caring for others. We both have loved dogs throughout our lives and have owned various breeds. Will fell in love with boxers and enjoyed over 12 years of breeding them and providing others with that same joy he got from the breed.
After his last boxer died after 17 years, Will swore he would never go through the heartbreak of having to put down another fur baby. Then Jen saw the Cane Corso 2 years later and all that changed.
Initially the plan was to keep Da Boyz all to ourselves, but after learning more about the breed and seeing how much we enjoy and respect these dogs, we wanted to share that joy with others, just as Will did previously with the boxer.
So together, we decided to create ‘Da Boyz Cane Corso’ to honor and respect the 2 dogs that created our love and appreciation for this noble breed, Dante and Bubba. Our goal is not to make lots of money or have huge financial gain but share this amazing breed with others and help place loving dogs in loving homes.
We take pride in what we do, and we carry a passion for the breed that can be seen in our dogs.
We have spent countless hours researching the Cane Corso history, numerous bloodlines, breed standards and various other topics to ensure that we are creating the best dogs possible from the best pedigrees.
Stay tuned for what's next at Da Boyz Cane Corso!
